Our Boosters
The Central DeWitt FFA Boosters have 18 active members! The Boosters consist of adults who are passionate about agriculture and help guide and prepare students in the FFA chapter. From giving advice to funding trips, the Boosters are a great support to our chapter! Members of the FFA Boosters help plan and put on various events throughout the year to help fund scholarships, travel expenses, and provide leadership opportunities for FFA members. Thank you, Boosters!
How to Join
Anyone interested in supporting and promoting agriculture, agricultural education, or FFA is eligible to become a member of the Central DeWitt FFA Boosters Club. You do not to have to be a past FFA member, all are welcome! Please contact Steve Diedrich by email bsdiedirch@gmtel.net or by phone 563-357-3944.
Out & About with Boosters
Throughout the year, our FFA Boosters are responsible for several fundraising events and activities, such as working the Central DeWitt girls basketball team game concession stands, the Toy Show, and so much more! All of the proceeds from these events help support the FFA student chapter by financing scholarships, travel expenses, providing leadership opportunities, and purchasing supplies.
All meetings are the 3rd Monday of the month 7:00 pm in the agriculture classroom - all are welcome!
Upcoming Events
FFA Boosters Plant Sale
Every year at the high school in town, the boosters put on a Plant Sale. The Horticulture class plants and tends to the plants until they are ready for sale. All the money goes into their account and is used when the FFA needs some financial help or goes to senior scholarships.
