The Gift of Blue is a National FFA Program that helps provide members with FFA Official Dress components. Normally, the FFA jackets are $60.00, and the official ties or scarves are around $13.00-$15.00. For some students, this cost may be a barrier to getting their own offical apparel. The goal of the Gift of Blue is to help students be able to receive their own jacket, even if they can't afford it themselves. To help some receive the Gift of Blue, you can donate $85.00, and that will cover the cost of someone receiving an offcial jacket and scarf or tie. To receive the Gift of Blue, members can either apply to the program themselves or they can be nominated by someone else. To find the application, you can search "National FFA Gift of Blue". This application is open year-round, so there are no time limits or deadlines. The Gift of Blue program is not just about giving students jackets, it's about giving them a way to be a part of something bigger. To fit it, feel like a part of a group, and like theey have a community within the seas of blue jackets. Please consider donating or applying if needed.
