Floral Design: Students in Floral Design are just beginning to work with real flowers. They
create bouquets, mug arrangements, and bud vases. The students also created centerpieces
and two large potted arrangements for the FFA banquet.
Agriculture Business: The class is working on learning about assets in a business and how to
maintain a healthy business environment in the short term and in the long run.
Horticulture: Students just finished preparing for the plant sale at the end of the month and
the start of May. The class did this by rearranging the greenhouse, creating ID tags,
advertising, and making sure everything is set for the sale.
Animal Science: As a class, kids are learning about the components of feed rations and the
importance of good nutrition to meet an animal's needs. They are working to understand
how each component benefits each species.
Agriculture Leadership: The kids in ag lead are working on planning and preparing the last
handful of events FFA will offer to their members this school year. They are responsible for
setting everything up and working to ensure that each event runs smoothly.
Introduction to Agriculture: Each student has been assigned a state. They then have
researched the different aspects of agriculture practiced in their assigned state. This
includes livestock, crops, and more.
