On October 2nd, FFA Students were treated to a fun and engaging chapter visit by Iowa FFA State Officers Laura Steinkamp and Jagger Ferrie during their ag classes. In the Agricultural Leadership class, the officers led students in various group activities that helped them build skills in areas such as teamwork, time management, and organizing priorities. FFA students enjoyed the visit and were grateful for the opportunity to sharpen their leadership skills. When being asked by she wanted to be a state officer, Laura responded that she was inspired by seeing different leadership presentations during her time as an FFA member through SAE Projects and contests. She wanted to become a leader who could teach her kinds of skills with real life applications.
