Homecoming With the FFA Chapter

By: Owen Garrity

On Thursday, September 17th, the Central DeWitt FFA Chapter had a float in the Central DeWitt Homecoming Parade. They had FFA members in the chapter in the parade to influence the idea for people to join FFA. Lots of people attended the parade, so this was a great opportunity for the chapter to represent themselves. We had a total of 13 people help out and/or attend the float. The members that did so included; Carlee Garrity, Audrina Gordon, Kinzie Gordon, Katie Grantz, Christabel Mensah, Marthe Vincent, Hailey Geffers, Blaire Keuter, Tinsley Fowler, Nora Bowman, Ava Roehm, Porter Vopatek, Addison Schroeder. Also we are happy to announce that two of our FFA members of the chapter have made the Homecoming Court. Congratulations to Cooper Barber and Coy Krukow! We want to thank everyone that helped out and/or attended the float. It helps way more than anyone would have thought. Your dedication helps other people notice FFA, and what it is all about. We also wish that everyone had a fantastic homecoming this year, from the games to the dance!
