On Monday, December 15th, Dewitt FFA held its second annual Roots to Riches event at the Clinton County Fairgrounds with over 90 FFA members and guests present. This event doubled as the December meeting and an opportunity for FFA members and their parents to learn more about FFA contests, as well as the benefits they provide to members throughout not just their FFA careers but also their future professional careers. At Roots to Riches three Hall of Fame members were inducted; 2022 grad. Kaitlyn Burken, 2022 grad Ella Krukow, and 2020 grad Spenser Paysen. These former FFA members found massive career success from the skills they gained through FFA contests, offices, and experiences. Special thanks to the Agricultural Leadership class for all their hard work on this event, each of the students had a trifold board where they became an expert on a contest to teach their peers about.
