Sub-District Success!

Thirteen Central DeWitt FFA members traveled to Muscatine High School on Monday, February 16th to compete at the Sub-District Convention. Students participated in the Leadership Development Events of Prepared Public Speaking, Ag Broadcasting, Ag Sales, FFA Knowledge Tests, Job Interview, Creed Speaking, Conduct of Meetings, and Chapter Website. Freshman Ruth Whitman, who competed for the very first time, said “I will never forget the experience, even though I didn’t win in my competition”. Those who advanced in their contest area will represent our chapter at District Convention at Cedar Rapids Prairie High School on Saturday, March 7th. The students competing placed as follows:
